How Fisher’s Wine Came to Be

Glen Arbor Wines is the creator and seller of unique wines which are produced for them by Good Harbor Vineyards in Lake Leelanau. Fisher became the “face” of their new sparkling Gruner wine when the owner, Lissa Edwards was talking with our real estate agent Jeff Rabidoux and his wife Katie, about how much she loves the photos that Jeff takes of their Golden Retriever. Katie suggested that she put him on a wine bottle saying “Who doesn’t love dogs?”. Jeff proposed the name “Lake Dog” and an appropriate image of Fisher swimming in Lake Michigan was chosen. It has quickly become a best seller at Glen Arbor Wines and is available in our Mountain Market. As Lissa says, “it’s a great tasting wine with an irresistible label!”
